My friend Peter Slingsby - a cartographer and rock art enthusiast - was the one who opened my eyes to the delicacy and artistry of the ancient San rock paintings in the Cederberg mountains. In the Sevilla Rock designs, I’ve tried to marry my love of simple, clean Scandinavian style with my appreciation of the artistry of these cave paintings.
